Another successful national dissemination event took place in North Macedonia

The National Dissemination Event for North Macedonia was held on November 6th 2020. This event brought together more than 60 participants from various stakeholders including universities, ministries, libraries etc. It was a great opportunity to spread information and raise awareness not only about EOSC, NI4OS-Europe project, Open Science and FAIR data but also National Open Science Cloud Initiatives.

The event also included a presentation of the related activities on the development of policies for open access to research infrastructures in the WB6 region. The Q&A session hosted a lively discussion on the presented information, as well as expressions of interest for more in-depth trainings on the presented topics.

Agenda

The first presenter was Prof. Sonja Filiposka, national EOSC promotor who gave a thorough overview about the vision of the EOSC project and drew attention to EOSC Association’s crucial role in gathering stakeholders to foster future EOSC developments. Following her presentation Prof. Anastas Mishev spoke about the NI4OS project’s key objectives. The participants gained some insights on Open Science and FAIR data due to the detailed presentation of Prof.Vladimir Trajkovik.

Prof. Boro Jakimovski in his presentation entitled “National Open Science Initiatives” highlighted the current status of Open Science policies across Europe. In the last presentation Klime Babunski talked about the related activities on the development of policies for open access to research infrastructures in the WB6 region.

The dissemination event ended with a highly informative Q&A session.

The event triggered great discussions among the participants and expression of interest for more in-depth trainings on the presented topics.
