Kicking off Train the Trainers Events by FAIR Principles

One of the biggest challenges in the academic environments’ fast changing world is how to adapt effectively to new requirements. In order to stay competitive, members, staff need to get acquainted with the latest trends and technologies, skills and competencies. That is why we believe it is important to become experts in the field. To reach our goal we have planned a webinar series, which focuses on one of the most important principles in data management.

What are FAIR Principles?
The FAIR data principles are a set of guiding principles to make data findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable. The principles provide guidance for scientific data management and stewardship in order to facilitate open science, the approach to scientific progress based on sharing available knowledge using collaborative tools and digital technologies.

The webinar series targets project members and EOSC promoters and it gives an insight look into the train-the-trainers model. This methodology provides an effective strategy to equip project partners and subject matter experts with new knowledge on how to facilitate others and how to foster an environment where everybody feels welcome to improve their skills.
