With 62 participants, national Open Science stakeholders, the NI4OS-Europe national dissemination event in Bulgaria was held online on the 20th of November 2020. The event kicked off with a presentation on NI4OS-Europe, including the project results achieved during its first implementation year, as well as the next steps in the forthcoming period, followed by a presentation on the European Open Science Cloud and its current status with an accent on the NI4OS contribution to EOSC.
Then the main results in 2020 of other Bulgarian Open Science projects and initiatives were presented: Bulgarian Open Science Portal (bpos.bg), Open Science activities in the National Scientific Program on ICT, activities of the Bulgarian node of RDA (RDA.bg) and of the Bulgarian node of OpenAir (OpenAir.bg).
Mrs. Yanita Zherkova, chief officer in the Directorate “Science” in the Ministry of Education and Science, presented the policy, documents and future actions in the area of Open Science. The event ended with a discussion about future activities.
